
What is TARP?
„TARP“ is the only International Festival of Audiovisual and Experimental Poetry in Lithuania joining together interdisciplinary arts and poetry launched for the fifth time. Being launched every time in different unconventional spaces in the biggest Lithuanian cities, this year the Festival will be flashing in contrasting spots of Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai (in short, somewhere between galleries and underground) integrating film reviews, performances, exhibitions and poetry concerts.
The goals of the International Audiovisual and Experimental Poetry Festival TARP are these:
- Creation and spread of audiovisual poetry traditions in Lithuania;
- Expansion of information on audiovisual poetry (especially by means of IT);
- Encouragement of modern society’s interest to poetry provided with unconventional forms of art synthesis;
- Encouragement of cooperation of artists in different areas.



- Exhibitions of visual poems (photo, graphics, paintings and others);
- Competitions and/or reviews of poem screening;
- Live shows of sound/visionaries/poetry (performances, concerts, actions, poetry and music improvisations);
- Education (lectures, seminars, workshops.)
